Mid year Club social gathering, planning ahead

Hey guys, with a great year planned ahead a thought came to me as with the social nights. Once a month is great but anybody keen for a saturday arvo catch up for beers and maybe cook up a ''game kill.''

Just an easy social as i know some people can find family time etc hard, im looking at somewhere for a simple bbq mid year.. get together maybe plan some hunts. Esy bbq somewhere as i know we've all been busy with other social/hunting events.

If I am around I'd be keen. I have been simply too busy to make any socials recently - stuck in the office till late. A weekend arvo could be good but I am also trying hard to get away if I can as I haven't been hunting much lately.

Swallow rock or somewhere similar to that, use the bbq's and throw in a line.

I'm happy to get just with the members but somewhere kid friendly might be a go as well to encourage the guys who cant get leave passes (also partners can drive ;))

throw some dates around and see what happens

Gunner, you reckon the rsl would let us have a bbq at back of our meeting room?

Easy to set up down there, bar etc n still get protection from rain n wind

Re Kurnell, I had a squiz at the boat ramp today and it sure is a mess after the blow. Council is active on restoration works but they have a way to go yet.

Got a date in mind anyone?

A date in start of August maybe ? I nominate the back of heathcote rsl ? can do a bbq gathering. This could be a task for the new committee to put on, nothing big just more of a get together for schooners. If anyone has anotehr idea itd be great i only suggest this coz itd be good to catch up with everyone more and on social nights they can be a bit rushed as some people cant always get there etc...

The more hunting we talk, the merrier the men ;)
