Gunner Posted June 16, 2018 Report Share Posted June 16, 2018 The weather was perfect for the butchering we had 34 members turn out for the day and I think everyone who attended had a good time a learnt a thing or two.Thanks to Shirehunters Member Scott and Kim from Bush Gear who got us the 2 Rusa deer to Butcher, also Brian "Chook" and the guys from Sutherland Small Bore Rifle Rang for letting us use your club grounds for the day.Also huge wrap to Cameron "Camo" for his knife work on the deer and talking and explaining the butchering on how to field butcher on the ground and from a hanging deer to all the guys that had never seen it done before.He also played with some of the knife kit that is supplied by Bush Gear and is a good set for someone starting outhttps://bushgear.com.au/sharp-knife-set-in-pvc-tube/highlights from the butchering day 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
